USB/USB-C is very useful for laptops

The connection with both USB and USB-C connections is very useful for laptops that have a limited number of ports. Very useful. The slightly matte finish of the trackball body is quite comfortable; not sure if it will last with heavy use. I'll report back in a few months on that.

Comfort and ease

Affordable, comfortable and works great! I use this one on my laptop pc. I have another brand on my desktop pc. This one fits my smallish sized hands a bit better. I definitely recommend!

I like the mouse, smooth ball movements

The mouse works as expected, except for the mouse wheel does not move left - right. I miss it a lot more than I thought I would.

Inexpensive comfortable alternative to wired Logitech Trackball mouse which now costs hundreds of dollars

Excellent tracball with major flaw

All buttons are very tactile and resemble in feel to old tracballs from Logitech trackballs. Very well made. Button to change speed comes very handy especially one on switches to large 4K monitor. I am not sure how long rubberized surface on trackball will last. I had several Logitech trackballs for last 20 years and they lost some paint. I do not replace equipment every few years if it works with no major issues like buttons doing double-click on their own , because internal switches are worn. Logitech was very durable and I expect this one will be similar (high bar). However, one major flow and that is why I gave only three stars. This trackbal does not work with USB switches so, if you are fun of USB switch for devices between several computers or KVM solution then this one will not work. Simply put it works with computer USB ports and USB hubs, but it does not follow proper reinitialization protocol or hot plugin as it should by standard. Tge support was very friendly and they offered me replacement, but it did not work and they need to reprogram controller on this mouse before sending replacements. We are not looking for 3-4 mice on desk for 3-4 computers (yes I work with this many computers at the same time daily).
